Only 12% of “e-waste” is recycled because there are simply too few options for convenient recycling. It’s time to hold TV manufacturers responsible just as they are in other countries of the world—including Japan, Taiwan and throughout the European Union.

Earlier this year TV stations stopped broadcasting analog signals over the airways and switched over to digital signals. This means that many older TVs are now be obsolete.  Will these TVs end up in landfills and backyards abroad or will they be responsibly recycled?  You can make a difference.
