The Talk: Philips doesn’t even talk the talk. Here’s what their website says about recycling:  “Check with your local or state organizations on the proper disposal methods or disposal restrictions in your area.”

About Philips: Philips has resisted the concept of manufacturer takeback and recycling for years, lobbying vigorously against takeback legislation.  Philips has recently stopped making TVs for the US market, and licensed its Philips and Magnavox brand names to Funai for 5 years.
