| About Funai: | The Funai name is not well known in the US, but you may own their products. They manufacture under the Funai name, as well as their Emerson, Symphonic and Sylvania names, plus they make many of the retailers’ house brands, as well as other lesser known brands’ equipment. Starting in Sept 2008, they were licensed to manufacture LCD TVs for Philips, under both the Philips and Magnavox brands, for the next 5 years. Funai is a Japanese company, with very little corporate presence here in the US – only sales offices. |
